The public is invited to attend anytime during the scheduled hours to review the proposed changes and to make and/or submit comments to be reviewed and considered by the Board of Commissioners.  There will be no formal presentation.

Route 40 Proposed Change - March 11 and 13 Public Meetings
Route 65 Proposed Change - March 18 and 20 Public Meetings
Route 70 Proposed Change - March 17 and 27 Public Meetings

Route 40 Proposed Change
Eliminate service along Fairground Street, Church Street and Cherokee Street.  There are 15 bus stops along this segment of the route 45 and all of these bus stops would continue to be served by other Cobb Community Transit routes. This change would add service along South Marietta Parkway between Powder Springs Road and North Marietta Parkway, which is not currently service by Cobb Community Transit, and would provide service to the YWCA.

Cobb County Central Library, Conference Room, 266 Roswell Street, Marietta, GA.

Saturday, March 13, 2010, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM,
Cobb Community Transit, 463 Commerce Park Drive, Suite 114, Marietta, GA.

Route 65 Proposed Change
Eliminate weekday mid-day service on both inbound and outbound buses.
There will be no change to Saturday Schedule.

Thursday, March 18, 2010, 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM,
Cobb County Central Library, Conference Room, 266 Roswell Street, Marietta, GA.

Saturday, March 20, 2010, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM,
East Cobb Government Center, Main Conference Room, 4400 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta, GA.

Route 70 Proposed Change
Eliminate weekday mid-day service on both inbound and outbound buses.
There will be no change to Saturday Schedule.
