In a continued effort to
serve the inter-modal commuter, Cobb Community Transit or CCT is proud
to announce that loop bicycle racks have been
installed at the Cumberland Boulevard Transfer Center and the Marietta
Transfer Center. These racks
are designed to be aesthetically pleasing, but are also made of heavy-duty
steel to insure that the bikes are secure when not in use. The racks
are capable of holding nine bikes and they are either surface mounted
or in-ground mounted. Cobb's transportation planning efforts are geared toward smog reduction as part of the Regional Transportation Plan (RTP). The loop bicycle racks will aid in these smog reduction efforts by encouraging people to use alternate forms of transportation. For questions or more
information, please contact Cobb DOT at (770) 528-3659. Questions
or comments may also be e-mailed to laraine.vance@cobbcounty.org
or faxed to (770) 528-1601, or mailed to: | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
