CCT Newslast updated March 26, 2012

arrowNotice to Express Passengers

After several months of diligent preparations involving CCT, GRTA, Gwinnett County, the City of Atlanta, and others, the rerouting of  CCT Routes 10A, 10B, 100, 101, 470, 47 REVERSE COMMUTE, 475, and 480 have been implemented as of March 5th.  The routing as implemented will be the permanent routing for the foreseeable future.

As with any effort of this magnitude, there were a few minor glitches.  We apologize for any inconveniences this caused our passengers.  We want to thank our passengers for their positive attitudes and their understanding during the rerouting.

Maps of the revised routes along with the new bus stop locations and the corresponding trip schedules will continue to be posted on the CCT Website.  New Route Maps will be printed and will be available for distribution in the near future.

In an effort to address passenger concerns regarding CCT Routes 100, 10A, 101, and 10B, CCT has revised the schedules of Route 100 AM, Route 100 PM, Route 10A AM, Route 101 AM, and Route 10B AM.
The schedules shown on the corresponding maps reflect the revised times.  Not all trip times have changed, so please review the schedules carefully.

signThe new bus stop locations shown on the maps and former bus stop locations in the downtown area that will be honored by CCT have been marked with a new Express sign.  Click here to view the sign.

The previous CCT practice of honoring all MARTA stops in downtown and midtown Atlanta is being changed.  The new practice will be to honor only bus stops marked with the new Express sign.  It will take several months to complete the transition to this new practice.  During the transition to the new policy, CCT intends to allow our drivers to initially honor the MARTA stops for pick-up when CCT passengers are present.  CCT staff will evaluate the MARTA stop and determine if the stop should be added to the route.  If the stop is determined to be safe and ADA compliant, an Express sign will be posted at the stop and the stop will be honored.  Request to add a stop to a CCT route can be made via an email to David Jackson at david.jackson@cobbcounty.org .

CCT values customer input and would like to hear from you regarding the rerouting. Please contact David Jackson, Transit Engineer, at 770-528-1660 with any comments, concerns, or questions you may have.

Thank you for using CCT.
