Check the Routes and Times
Schedules and detailed route maps show the times buses travel along each route. Check the routes & schedules for the times the bus will arrive at the nearest stop. The schedule also includes arrival times to your destination. Have pencil and paper ready when you call customer service at (770) 427-4444. Customer service will mail schedules upon request.

No CCT service on the following Holidays:
  • New Years Day, January 1, 2008
  • Memorial Day, May 26, 2008
  • Independence Day, July 4, 2008
  • Labor Day, September 1, 2008
  • Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2008
  • Christmas Day, December 25, 2008
Bus Stops
Arrive two or three minutes early and wait at the bus stop sign. Buses stop only at bus stop signs. As the bus approaches, raise your hand to signal the driver to stop.

Is it your Bus?
Check the route name and number sign above the front bus windshield to make sure it is the correct route. Route signs also are posted in the side window. If you are not sure whether this bus will go to your destination, ask the driver.

Boarding the Bus
Let exiting passengers off before you board. Enter at the front door of the bus. Have exact change ready and deposit it in the farebox. (Fareboxes accept $1 bills but cannot make change.) Put coins in the coin slot and the bills in the bill slot on top of the farebox. If you need a transfer, ask for it when you board the bus.

Exiting the Bus
When the bus is a block away from your stop, push the yellow signal stripe located between and above the windows to signal to the driver that you want to get off. Hold onto the grab rails when you stand. Exit through the rear door. After the bus pulls away from the stop, check traffic carefully and then cross the street safely. Do not cross in front of the bus.

Please...
  • No food or drink; no smoking.
  • Bicycles are not allowed on the inside of buses. They are allowed on the bike racks located on the outside front of the bus. Racks can accommodate two bicycles. For more information, please refer to http://www.cobbdot.org/bikesonbuses.htm.
  • Use earphones with radios and CD players.
  • Service animals are allowed on all CCT buses.
  • Offer the two front seats to senior citizens and disabled passengers.
  • Fold strollers.

Safety First
Keep safety in mind at all times when boarding, riding and exiting the buses. CCT drivers are well trained to operate the buses safely. All windows and roof hatches are emergency exits; each bus has a fire extinguisher. All buses are in radio communication with the CCT dispatcher.
