Concept Designs

North Booth Road / Wooten Lake Road Intersection Improvement

Windy Hill Road Flyover Bridge and Improvements on Powers Ferry Road
This project consists of replacing the existing triple-left turn lanes from Windy Hill Road to Powers Ferry Road northbound with a 250-foot bridge to allow continuous flow of traffic. Powers Ferry Road improvements include an additional north bound lane on Powers Ferry from Windy Hill Road to Terrell Mill Road.

Austell Road Intersection Improvements
This GRTA-funded project consists of 7 intersection improvement projects along Austell Road, as follows: Clay Road, Hurt Road, Floyd Road, Milford Church Road, Hicks Road, Windy Hill Road and Sandtown Road/ Olive Springs Road.
Cobb DOT has been responsible for design and right-of-way acquisition and GDOT will be responsible for managing construction, which is scheduled to begin mid to late summer 2008.

Terrell Mill Road Area Intersection Improvements
As a follow up to the recent Public Information Meeting, attached are revised plans for the Lower Roswell Road @ Old Canton Road and Terrell Mill Road @ Delk Road Intersection Improvements. The Terrell Mill @ Paper Mill and Terrell Mill @ Lower Roswell Road Projects have been put on hold while awaiting additional revision and funding.
