Hamby Road - Bridge Replacement over Clark Creek
Hamby Road will be closed to thru traffic between Niagara Drive and Lightwood Lane beginning Saturday, May 23rd, 2009 through Sunday, August 2nd, 2009. The actual point of closure is on Hamby Road approximately 400 feet west of Niagara Drive and approximately 500 feet east of Lightwood Lane where Hamby Road crosses Clark Creek. Closure is necessary due to replacement of the bridge over Clark Creek.

Detour route from Hamby Road @ Hickory Grove Road will be Hickory Grove Road (east) to left on Wade Green Road (north). Detour route from Hamby Road @ Wade Green Road (Cherokee County) will be Wade Green Road (south) to right on Hickory Grove Road (west). For more information call Cobb County DOT at 770.528.1653
Cheatham Hill Road - Bridge Replacement over Ward Creek
Cheatham Hill Road will be closed to thru traffic between Livingston Drive and Ward Creek Drive beginning Monday, May 25th, 2009 through Sunday, August 2nd, 2009. The actual point of closure is on Cheatham Hill Road approximately 950 feet north of Livingston Drive and approximately 750 feet south of Ward Creek Drive where Cheatham Hill Road crosses Ward Creek. Closure is necessary due to replacement of the bridge over Ward Creek.

Detour route from Cheatham Hill @ Powder Springs Road will be Powder Springs Road south to right on Macland Road west to right on John Ward Road north. Detour route from Cheatham Hill Road @ John Ward Road will be John Ward Road south to left on Macland Road east to left on Powder Springs Road north. - Midway Road - Bridge Replacement over Allatoona Creek
Midway Road will be closed to thru traffic between Bristlecone Drive and Due West Road beginning Friday, May 22nd, 2009 through Monday, August 3rd, 2009. The actual point of closure is on Midway Road approximately 120 feet north of Bristlecone Drive and approximately 1950 feet south of Due West Road where Midway Road crosses Allatoona Creek. Closure is necessary due to replacement of the bridge over Allatoona Creek.

Detour route from Midway Road @ Dallas Highway will be Dallas Highway (east) to left on Old Hamilton Road (north) to left on Due West Road (northwest) to left of Due West Road (west).
Detour route from Midway Road @ Due West Road will be Due West Road (east) to right on Due West Road (southeast) to right on Old Hamilton Road (south) to right on Dallas Highway (west). For more information call Cobb County DOT at 770.528.1653.
- Smyrna-Powder Springs Road - Bridge Replacement over Favor Creek
Smyrna-Powder Springs Road will be closed to thru traffic between Favor Road and Sandtown Road beginning Saturday, May 23rd, 2009 through Monday, August 3rd, 2009. The actual point of closure is on Smyrna-Powder Springs Road approximately 600 feet east of Old Carriage Drive and approximately 650 feet west of Springstead Court where Smyrna-Powder Springs Road crosses Favor Creek.Closure is necessary due to replacement of the bridge over Favor Creek.

Detour route from Smyrna-Powder Springs Road @ Sandtown Road will be Sandtown Road (north) to left on Windy Hill Road (west) to left on Favor Road (south). - Post Oak Tritt Road - Bridge Replacement over Grove Creek
Post Oak Trill Road will be closed to thru traffic between Hembree Road and Johnson Ferry Road beginning Saturday, May 23rd, 2009 through Sunday, August 9th, 2009. The actual point of closure is on Post Oak Tritt Road approximately 400 feet east of Rocky Springs Drive and approximately 550 feet west of Tritt Springs Chase where Post Oak Tritt Road crosses Grove Creek. Closure is necessary due to roadway grade changes and replacement of the bridge over Grove Creek.

Detour route from Post Oak Tritt Road at Hembree Road will be Hembree Road north to right on Lassiter Road east to right on Johnson Ferry Road south. Detour route from Post Oak Tritt Road at Johnson Ferry Road will be Johnson Ferry Road North to left on Lassiter Road west to left on Hembree Road south. Allgood Road - Closure necessary due to a hill cut at Rock Crest Drive.
Allgood Road will be closed to thru traffic between Emerald Glen Drive and East Park Boulevard beginning Tuesday, May 26th, 2009 through Monday, August 3rd, 2009. The actual point of closure is at Rock Crest Drive, approximately 350 feet east of Emerald Glen Drive and approximately 1150 west of East Park Boulevard. Closure is necessary due to a hill cut at Rock Crest Drive.

Detour route from Allgood Road @ Scufflegrit Road will be Scufflegrit Road (north) to right on Sandy Plains Road (northeast) to right on East Piedmont Road (south).Detour route from Allgood Road @ East Piedmont Road will be East Piedmont Road (north) to left on Sandy Plains Road (southwest) to left on Scufflegrit Road (south). - Hiram-Lithia Springs Road
Hiram-Lithia Springs Road will be closed to thru traffic between Sullivan Road and Garrett Road beginning Tuesday, July 14th, 2009 throughTuesday, August 4th, 2009. The actual point of closures are on Hiram-Lithia Springs Road at Sullivan Road and approximately 350 feet south of Doe Run Drive. Closure is necessary due to the construction of the new bridge tie-in.

Detour route from Sullivan Road @ Hiram-Lithia Springs Road will be Hiram-Lithia Springs Road (south) to left on Humphries Hill Road (east) to left on CH James Parkway (north) to left on Garrett Road (west). Detour route from Garrett Road @ Hiram-Lithia Springs Road will be Garrett Road (east) to right on CH James Parkway (south) to right on Humphries Hill Road (west) to right on Hiram-Lithia Springs Road (north). - Maran Lane
Maran Lane will be closed to thru traffic between Floyd Road and Montpelier Drive beginning Monday, April 20, 2009 through Friday, August 14, 2009. The actual point of closure is on Maran Lane at the intersection of Maran Lane and Floyd Road. Closure is necessary due to the realignment of Maran Lane at Floyd Road.

Detour route from Maran Lane at Floyd Road will be straight on Floyd Road (south) to left on Fontaine Road (east) to left on Montpelier Drive (north). Detour route from Maran Lane at Montpelier Drive will be right onto Montpelier Drive (south) to right on Fontaine Road (west) to right on Floyd Road (north). - Flint Hill Road
Flint Hill Road will be closed to thru traffic between Warren Drive and Perkerson Mill Road beginning Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009 through Monday, August 31st, 2009. The actual point of closure is on Flint Hill Road approximately 155 feet south of Warren Drive and approximately 400 feet north of Perkerson Mill Road. Closure is necessary due to the installation of a new culvert.

- Holland Road
North Church Lane will be closed to thru traffic between Old Dallas Road and Yvonne Drive beginning Monday, July 6th, 2009 through Sunday, October 4th, 2009. The actual point of closure is at Old Dallas Road and Holland Road. Closure is necessary due to lowering and realigning Holland Road.

Detour route from Holland Road @ Nichols Road will be Nichols Road (east) to right on Mars Hill Road (south) to right on Dallas Highway (west). - Old 41 Highway NW
Old 41 Highway NW will be closed to thru traffic between Stilesboro Road and Greers Chapel Road beginning Monday, July 20th, 2009 through Saturday, October 17th, 2009. The actual point of closure is at the bridge over CSX Rail Line. Closure is necessary due to replacement of the bridge over CSX Rail Line.

North Church Lane will be closed to thru traffic between Atlanta Road and Collins Springs Drive beginning Monday, June 1st, 2009 through Wednesday, October 28th, 2009. The actual point of closure is at North Church Lane and Atlanta Road. Closure is necessary due to bridge replacement over CSX railroad.

- Scott Road
Scott Road will be closed to thru traffic between Burnt Hickory Road and Due West Road beginning Monday, April 27, 2009 through Friday, December 4, 2009. Closure is necessary due to relocation and realignment of the roadway.
