Schedule
Based on the current schedule alternate alignments will be evaluated and information presented to the public in the spring of 2007. All comments collected at the public meeting will be documented and considered before a preferred alignment is refined based on the general concerns.
Upon selection of the preferred alignment construction plans will be developed during 2007 and early 2008.
Right-of-way acquisition will be conducted by Cobb County DOT and should take place during 2008 to 2009.
A construction contract is expected to be awarded in early 2010 and the new roadway should be open to traffic in 2011.
